LILY // 2015 SENIOR

"Commit your way to the LORD,
Trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass."
>> PSALM 37:5 <<

Meet Lily! This girl is such a gem of a friend. She overflows with encouragement and you miss her when she's away. Lily is super talented and yet is one of the most genuine, humble people I know - the Lord has blessed her with such creativity in so many areas, from piano-playing to art to her writing pieces. She lives life with joyful energy rooted in her Savior and is passionate about Him. She can get you smiling with few words + her gorgeous smile totally radiates wherever she is + she can cheer you up when you're having a hard day. Yikes, I'm starting to sound super cheesy, but seriously, this girl is golden! I'm so thankful for each of the many adventures + memories. (#courageous #fabulous #insidejokeelbows #smiley - Lil, thank you SO much for being so patient with me through tears, laughter, or a mixture of both. ;)) Oh, and this girl {adores} camp, so yay that this session happened there.:)

Do you need a remedy for photobombers? Start doing a photo shoot of THEM.
They shall likely go running. :) But muchas gracias to these guys for making us smile!!

*yes, we are each still in one piece after taking these on the road*
shout-out to our deborah friend for her stellar watching-for-cars skills :)

Love ya, Lil! Thanks for asking me to take these :) Blessings as you finish up your senior year!

ANNIE // SENIOR

"God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved:
God shall help her, and that right early."
>> PSALM 46:5

This girl's heart is radiantly beautiful. She has a focus on her Savior and a desire to share His love with others. She's a leader. She adores camp, kiddos, playing the piano, capturing pictures, summer days. I'm blessed to call Annie my friend and sister-in-Christ. I was super excited when she mentioned about taking some senior pictures while at family fall retreat. :D  Annie and I headed out after this photoshoot and it unfolded to be one of my favorite sessions ever. Love this location and talk about perfect timing for some yummy golden light! While we were taking some portraits by the chapel, the door was pushed open and we heard 'lil Malachi's voice saying, "You two look alike!" He was a little surprised to find out that, no, we weren't sisters. And he's definitely not the first to think we're sisters - must be the brown hair and brown eyes. :) All right, onto some favorite frames of this fabulous friend! These pictures may have dominated my first order of business cards - really loved this session!

Love the radiantly joyful sparkle of her chocolate brown eyes!

She loves this place. #biggestunderstatementever :)

Definition of gracefulness right there. :)

And her piano music is simply beautiful!

Ah, lovelovelove this lovely golden light!!

Thanks so much, friend, for braving the chilly weather with me, even in short sleeves!
It was a joyful privilege to capture your senior portraits. :D
